You’re planning a trip and find an incredible tour on a big-name travel agency website but then click into the details and see the price is well outside your budget. Don’t give up!
Many international travel agencies use local companies for their tours, meaning those large agencies charge higher fees than what you need to pay. The trick is to find a local company.
My sneaky trick is to find a photo you love on the tour agency website and use Google Images to do a reverse search for the image.
Let me walk through an example. I found the following image on an international travel agency site.

My first thought was how cool it looked and the travel agency site made the experience sound amazing. I then did the following steps:
On the travel agency website, right-click the photo and select Copy Link Address.
Access images.google.com
Click the Search by Image icon

Paste the URL
Click Search by Image

In most cases, Google will search to find what that image is most associated with, such as the hotel name or tour operator that sourced the image. In the example above, Google led me to some Trip Advisor reviews about the local tour company that owned the boat. We booked directly with the local company and saved about half the price of the tour!
