About me

That’s me. That was my first time to Iceland in 2010. I started travelling abroad in 1997 and was hooked from the start. Since my first 10 years were travelling as a single woman, I started with “easier” trips to places where they spoke English and there were little cultural differences. As I got comfortable with international travel, I started to get more adventurous. I met my husband in 2008 and we started travelling together. We have a unique way of selecting our destinations based on an idea from our wedding officiant. We call them our box trips. Click here to read more about how we select where we travel. Now, in 2020, I’ve traveled to 54 different countries (according to the Traveler’s Century Club) and looking to add more and more to my list.
